How do I get to my personal dashboard?

The link is on all our auto correspondence and reminder emails. You can also access through our “request” link on our website or we can email it to you.

Why do I have to fill out a request form each time?

We use Jobber, a staff shared platform built for contractors, to manage quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and client communication. It adds to your already existing file (avoids making duplicate properties) OR creates a new one for you. It keeps our team organized and gives each of us access if one of us is out. You also have a personal dashboard where you can access estimates, payments, messages, and job updates—all in one place.

Why can’t I just email, text or call Dave with what I want done?

With growth comes delegation, and we’re putting online systems in place to help spread the workload more effectively.

Going forward, please direct all emails and texts to lisa@cheverlyhomeimprovement so Dave can stay focused on managing things in the field. As his business has grown, it’s become unsustainable for him to handle scheduling or communication directly.

As the Client Communications lead, I now manage all scheduling, reschedules, and back-and-forth communication. I’ll make sure everything stays on track and that nothing falls through the cracks.

How long will my quote take?

We receive dozens of quote requests each week, and during our busy season, the turnaround time for estimates is approximately 2–3 weeks. Please note that our staff does not have access to the status of quotes or expected completion dates. We appreciate your patience and understanding!

Why do you only work in Cheverly?

Working exclusively in Cheverly helps us keep costs down by sharing tools, tradesmen, and resources between jobs. We have a strong relationship with the Town, which speeds up permits thanks to their support of local businesses. Plus, with Dave’s office and home base right here, we can coordinate crews efficiently and hold quick, in-town meetings when needed.

Can I have an exact time for my appointment?

We work within an ETA window rather than exact times, as appointment lengths and inspections vary. Please plan to be available between 9 AM–2 PM on the day of your appointment.

We understand this can be inconvenient, but we can't always guarantee specific times, and want to manage expectations and the team’s stress. Your flexibility helps us keep projects running smoothly and supports our staff—thank you for understanding.

When will I get my invoice?

Dave will close the job once he’s had time to walk through and approve the work. After that, Renee will email your invoice. You can pay online through the system using various methods.

How long are estimates good for?

Estimates are good for 30-days give or take.

Are staff available after hours? Is it ok to text or call?

Our staff takes weekends and holidays off to spend time with their families and unplug. For true emergencies, please text the emergency line listed on our website.

Do you offer financing or allow monthly payments?

We offer financing through Acorn Finance, which compares the best available rates for you and handles all the admin work on our behalf. Checking your multiple options won’t ding your credit score each time. See the link on our homepage.
